We created a branding plan, web design & business cards for Angela Carter Counselling Therapy.
This project was a joy to work on because of Angela. Her kindness, thoughtfulness and genuine care for others was obvious straight away and we are excited to see her business grow.
In partnership with Digital Nova Scotia and their Digital Assistance for Small Business grant program, we had the pleasure of working with Angela to create a relaxing and calm brand design.
Her new brand features warm tones, open and lighter fonts as well as calming imagery and easy to follow information blocks. We wanted to make sure her brand reflected the peaceful and relaxing environment she creates for her clients and reflected the calming and nurturing tone we felt as we worked with Angela.
Angela wanted to include lavender in the design, a naturally calming and relaxing visual which is perfect for her line of work and for Angela herself.
Her website is light and includes lots of space around each element and almost feels like each piece of her site is taking a deep breath. We wanted to ensure that the information was easy to understand and didn’t look too heavy. We created a site that is easy to follow but still contains lots of information.
This project was incredibly near and dear to our heart. Angela needed a site that could communicate to future clients her skill set and a beautiful way to layout her content. She wanted a simple tool for clients to get into a session straight away and ended up with a contact form with conditional options that help her get the information she needs but also lends to a more personal approach.
Angela was a kind and gracious client and highly recommend her to anyone in need of her services. She is offering in person sessions in the HRM and video and phone sessions all over Canada.
Mental health and wellness affects everyone of us and the stigma surrounding getting assistance for issues that arise is pervasive and damaging. OakTree Designs is an advocate for mental health and strive to bring awareness whenever possible.
